Mrs. Normoyle brings more than three decades of experience in arts and gifted education to Keith after spending most of her career working with pre-K through 8th grade students throughout Rockford Public Schools District 205.
With expertise in strategic planning, problem-based learning, and differentiated instruction, Mrs. Normoyle is excited to bring her experience and enthusiasm to Keith students. Her teaching philosophy centers on collaboration, engaged learning, and innovation
Mrs. Normoyle holds a Bachelor of Science in education and art from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction from National Louis University. She also has an endorsement in gifted education for grades K-12.
An active community member, Mrs. Normoyle serves on numerous boards throughout the region, including the Discovery Center of Rockford, Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois, Natural Land Institute, and Tinker Swiss Cottage.
She is also the recipient of several prestigious community honors. In 2009 she received Crusader Clinic’s Spirit of Caring Award and was named the United Way of Rock River Valley Region Volunteer of the Year.
