B.A. in French Language and Literature from Middlebury College
Mrs. Belh is a French teacher experienced working with both American and international students. A graduate of Middlebury College, Mrs. Belh holds a B.A. in French Language and Literature. Her teaching experiencing includes both French and English as a Second Language (ESL). Before assuming the role as Keith’s Lower School French teacher, Mrs. Belh taught French at Veritas Christi Hybrid Academy in Rockford. Prior to that, she taught ESL to international students at Rockford University and through VIPKid, an online platform for international English education.
Mrs. Belh strives to incorporate listening, reading, speaking, and writing from the earliest stages of learning to promote language acquisition both in the classroom and at home.
In addition to teaching, Mrs. Belh has served in administrative roles at various educational institutions, including as assistant registrar for the Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, Pennsylvania and as a director and tutor for Classical Conversations, a nationwide Christian homeschool program.
Other international work has included serving as an au pair coordinator for local families and as a short-term missionary with Greater Europe Mission where she assisted in the outreach efforts of a local French church through music, conversational English, and child care.
When she’s not teaching languages, you’ll find her leading Zumba and other group fitness classes at the YMCA of Rock River Valley and hiking or traveling to Quebec with her family.
